Sales Account Manager
Location: UK
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Account Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining and expanding opportunities with existing key accounts and resellers. This initially will involve supporting the Senior Account Managers with existing accounts whilst developing experience with the customers, products and methodology. You will be required to take primary responsibility for Accounts which are allocated to you, which could include both existing and new accounts as they are transferred from the Business Development team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets with existing accounts.
- Prospect and qualify new opportunities; positioning Sekura Global as a credible partner while strengthening the global brand.
- Work with the CSR team to provide quotations and process orders quickly.
- Close sales through effective negotiation and by overcoming objections.
- Onboard new customers and serve as the primary point of contact while nurturing trusted, long-lasting relationships.
- Develop and manage account plans, business review meetings, and proposals to grow and support the business.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development teams to ensure maximum service to the customer while driving revenue growth with both new and existing clients.
- Gain insight and understanding of the customers’ needs to manage expectations and deliver the best solutions.
- Support with product trials to ensure a successful outcome which creates further revenue.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4+ years’ corporate experience as an account manager, sales representative, or similar role, selling inventory-based products to large retailers.
- An experienced consultative salesperson with a farmer mentality that has a proven track record of winning deals that can take up to 12 months to close and increasing sales.
- Strong communication skills, particularly around customer follow up, uncovering needs, presentation, persuasion, negotiation and closing the sale.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, having the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the loss prevention industry is preferable but not mandatory.
- Degree in business administration, marketing, or a similar field a plus.
- Ability to travel nationally.
- Authorisation to work indefinitely in the UK without restriction or sponsorship.
